A Little About Us

What is Vidguk?

Vidguk Charity Foundation is a response to people's needs. We are a team of Ukrainians united by the desire to help others after February 24, 2022.
It all began in Odesa with a simple but meaningful act — distributing humanitarian aid to those who had lost their homes or found themselves in crisis. We listen, we see, and we act — that’s how our foundation was born.
We strive to be close. To respond to a call, to feel and to hear.
We want every person we meet to know that their pain is not ignored and their story matters. Our mission is not just to help, but to be attentive to the person behind the need.
We build our work on trust and relationships.
Sincerity, honesty, and steady presence are the foundation of everything we do.
We believe that true service is only possible in partnership where mutual respect is at the core.

Our Projects

Together we can save more lives

Humanitarian Aid in Odesa

Every month, we support around 200 families in Odesa who are facing difficult life circumstances. Packages with food and essential items provide basic but extremely important assistance for many people.

Humanitarian Aid in Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Odesa Regions

Every six weeks, we deliver humanitarian aid to Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions. Between 100 and 200 families receive assistance — often people from remote villages who have been left without support.

Rebuilding

Restoring homes means restoring lives. We support families in the rebuilding process: providing construction materials, involving volunteers, and helping step by step to bring their homes back. Thanks to this, 15 families are now able to live in their own homes again.

Children's Programs

Our children's programs combine creativity, play, and support. We work with children who have experienced trauma, helping them feel like children again — through play, connection, and safety. We run programs in Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions. Each child receives a gift, and in September — school supplies. This support reaches about 200 children.

Support for Veterans

We organize gatherings for veterans where music and conversation create a space for recovery. We have already held two musical meetings, and every quarter we provide humanitarian aid to 30 veteran families.

Art Space

Every Tuesday, we open our doors to women who were forced to leave their homes. They come to rest, be heard, and find new strength and peace through creativity.

Winter Season

For many families, winter is a challenge, especially without light and heat. Since October, we have been providing more than 150 families in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions with firewood, briquettes, and heating devices — in areas where there is no heating, this is essential for survival.
